Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is recognized worldwide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month β a time dedicated to raising awareness, promoting education, and encouraging early detection of breast cancer. At St. Andrew Catholic Hospital, Kordiabe, we are committed to joining this global campaign to help protect the health and wellbeing of women in our community and beyond.
This year, our theme is: βSupport the Fight Against Breast Cancer β Early Detection Saves Livesβ. Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers among women, but the good news is that when detected early, it can be treated successfully. Many women delay screening due to fear, stigma, or lack of awareness, but regular checks and timely medical attention can make a life-saving difference.
